Duty Hours

Med ProSuite is a total staff management system that includes an application for tracking resident duty hours. Some features include:

• Residents can enter their duty hours via cell phone or computer, with comments if necessary
• Residents can view a report containing weekly duty hour calculations
• Program director or their designate can view the violations report
• Program director or their designate can view each resident’s rolling report showing ACGME calculations averaged over four weeks, including duty hours, weekly time off, and time between shifts
• Program director can check to see if a particular rotation has duty hour concerns requiring follow-up
• Administrator has the ability to set duty hour limits by residency year or by department/specialty
